Why: This mount/ mobile holder just works. The clips on the bottom allow for one to hook up a charger without any fuss. The clips on the side are foam padded which is gentle on your phone. They adjust in to the exact width of your phone. A quick button press on the back releases them from you phone when you get out. The actually phone mount can be taken from car to car since you have a suction cup and a vent holder. The suction cup is very strong and stable. The long arm is flexible which allows you to adjust it exactly how you need it. It stood up to days of drag racing while using my phone to record video and engine parameters. The vent mount is also very stable, and it use it in my DD for music/podcasts and GPS duties.
Should You Upgrade?
Smartphones have become a nearly indispensable part of the driving experience, for better or worse. We use them for driving directions, to play music, and to make the occasional hands-free call. (We hope that’s all you’re using them for. The Car Aroma doesn’t condone distracted driving or breaking hands-free laws.) A good mount allows you to complete these tasks as easily and safely as possible by positioning your phone where you can quickly glance at it, rather than having to look down at a cup holder, the center console, or the passenger seat to check for your next turn.
If you already have a mount that’s working for you, there’s no pressing need to upgrade. But you may find that your current mount no longer works well—or at all—if you get a new phone, especially if you go with a larger handset.
